Flowerevents – Meggen

1. Flowers are a seasonal product.

Therefore, the full range of products is not always available and deliverable. The assortment is changed regularly. Accordingly, the bouquets are adapted to the respective season. A delivered bouquet may look slightly different in person than in the picture. Each bouquet is an individual piece of work that is put together fresh every day by our florists and corresponds as closely as possible to the picture in terms of shape and colour.

2. Prices / value added tax

Flower prices are naturally subject to seasonal and regional fluctuations.

The prices quoted by us include VAT for the respective product.

If the flower greeting is not accepted by the recipient without good reason, Flowerevents has the right to invoice the delivery anyway.

3. Data protection / protection of privacy

Protecting your privacy is an absolute priority for Flowerevents. We endeavour to guarantee you the highest level of data protection and security. Flowerevents only uses your personal data to process orders. Your e-mail address and personal details will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties. In our shop, orders are processed via an order form. The information contained therein is used exclusively for the delivery of your order, for the order confirmation or invoice and, if necessary, for queries to our customers.

You can pay conveniently by credit card.

All prices are shown in Swiss francs.

6.a Deliveries

To ensure that the requested delivery can be made on time and without delay, please ensure that the delivery address provided, including the local telephone number, is correct and complete. No liability can be accepted for any delays or non-deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If the flower recipient is absent, our delivery service will endeavour to deliver again at a later date or a notification card will be left. An attempt will also be made to contact the recipient by telephone so that the flower delivery can be arranged as soon as possible. If the recipient is absent, the delivery service is entitled to leave the flowers with a third party (e.g. a neighbour, etc.) who seems suitable to pass them on to the recipient. The same applies to enclosures (accompanying letters, gift items, etc.) If the delivery cannot be completed despite these efforts, the client will be notified.

Correctness of the delivery address
In your own interest, please ensure that the delivery address and telephone number provided to us are correct and complete. We cannot accept any liability for any delays or non-deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Please note that:

For deliveries to hospitals, care departments or retirement homes, please state the department and room number where possible. Deliveries can only be guaranteed to reception (e.g. hospital).

For hotel deliveries, please state the name under which the recipient is registered at the hotel if possible (travelling group, married couples, etc.) Deliveries are only guaranteed to the hotel reception.

6.b Delivery time

We must receive your order at least 6 working hours before the desired delivery date.

Only deliveries for funerals or weddings are guaranteed. The customer is therefore requested to indicate the delivery time as precisely as possible on the order form.

Guaranteed delivery at a specific time is only possible if agreed with our customer service at info@flowerevents.com and is usually charged as express delivery (surcharge plus CHF 15.00 on the respective delivery costs).

Deliveries are also possible on Sundays and public holidays. (if necessary, prior clarification by telephone is advisable)

7. flowers all over the world within hours (Fleurop / Interflora)

Orders outside our delivery area are fulfilled by one of our 50,000 Fleurop/Interflora partners in 154 countries worldwide. In addition to these General Terms and Conditions, all Fleurop/Interflora provisions apply to these orders. In the event of contradictions between these General Terms and Conditions and the provisions of Fleurop/Interflora, these General Terms and Conditions shall apply. For these orders, too, we guarantee that your order will be delivered with love and care and in the best quality.

Any time differences and local opening hours must be taken into account. For most European countries, same-day delivery is guaranteed if the order is placed by 10.00 a.m. at the latest.

Unfortunately, Fleurop/Interflora cannot deliver to all locations in all countries. In Switzerland, delivery to all towns and cities is guaranteed. Nevertheless, not all locations abroad can be supplied. If your order is for a location that is not supplied, please contact our customer service. 8. Order confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail within a few hours. This e-mail will contain detailed information about the product purchased, the purchase price, the delivery date and the sender and recipient addresses. If you have not received an order confirmation, please contact our customer service team

The name and address details of the customer must be correct and complete. It is essential to provide a telephone number for queries during Flowerevents’ opening hours

10. Identification of the recipient

The name and address details of the customer must be correct and complete. They must be recognisable according to the principles of postal traffic in the recipient country. Providing the recipient’s telephone number guarantees the desired delivery at the desired time of day.

11. Transmission error

Any damage resulting from the use of post, telephone, fax, telex, Internet and other means of transmission or transport organisations, in particular from loss, delay, misunderstandings, mutilation or duplication as well as misuse of data by third parties, shall be borne by the customer, provided that Flowerevents has exercised the usual duty of care.

12. Guarantee

Customer satisfaction is very important to Flowerevents and is guaranteed. In particular, we guarantee that all orders will be handled professionally and that all flowers and plants will be delivered on time and in perfect quality by our delivery service.

We guarantee the conscientious handling of every order.

Our satisfaction guarantee includes:

With this guarantee, we guarantee that your order will be carried out with love, care and the best quality. If you are still not satisfied with the delivery or the quality, please contact our customer service within 3 days of delivery at the latest. 13. Cancellation / Right of withdrawal

Subsequent changes or cancellations
In the event of changes to orders that have already been submitted or cancellations of orders that have already been submitted, any costs may be charged to the client (max. order value).

The flower order can be cancelled two working days before the desired delivery date, stating important reasons; cancellations after this deadline can only be accepted in exceptional cases. Cancellations must be sent to the e-mail address info@flowerevents.com or to the telephone number +41 41 378 05 05 (customer service) during our normal business hours.

16. Legal matters

All legal relationships between the customer and Flowerevents are subject to Swiss law.

17. Contract

By completing and submitting the order form on the Internet or otherwise communicating an order, a purchase contract is created between the customer and Flowerevents in accordance with Swiss law, regardless of the customer’s location at the time of entry and regardless of the customer’s registered office. Flowerevents reserves the right to refuse orders at any time.

18. Changes to the “General Terms and Conditions”

19. SSL encryption (if set up)

When placing an order via www.flowerevents.com, you must enter sensitive data (address, credit card number, etc.) in the forms. The transmission of this data between your browser and www.flowerevents.com takes place via an encrypted connection.

For this encryption, www.flowerevents.com uses “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) transmission. SSL is a secure transmission method for online data with the following advantages:
The server with which you exchange the data is identified via the SSL certificate.
The data exchange takes place via an encrypted connection that cannot be viewed by third parties (128-bit encryption).

The so-called “cookies” are often the subject of discussion. They are generally used to enable the shopping basket to function smoothly and to identify the user during the purchase or even when a site is called up again.
If you order products via www.flowerevents.com, no cookies are used that collect personal data. The data entered by the user of www.flowerevents.com is temporarily stored on the server. When you enter our site, a session is generated. This places a cookie on your computer which only contains a temporary identification number.
